Two specialized workshops, on the topics of “Geospatial Applications, Remote Sensing and 3D Modeling in Cultural Heritage” and “Analytical Techniques in Cultural Heritage”, were organized with great success by the ARISTEAS research team (October, 14-16). The workshops took place in person, in the facilities of the Laboratory of Archaeometry.
Both workshops aimed at providing theoretical and practical training in state-of-the-art methodologies in the field of New Technologies in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage. All participants were employees (archaeologists, conservators) in the Ephorates of Antiquities, Museums and other services of the Ministry of Culture.
